Hi!
I am Maria Alvarez, a writer and photographer who has fallen in love with art, family, and the simple things in life. My love for photography began years ago, when a couple of dear friends noticed something in the way I saw and framed the world around me. Their encouragement sparked a curiosity in me, one that soon grew into a calling I felt deeply drawn to pursue.
Years later, here I am, owning my photography business and with a heart full of gratitude and reverence towards the beautiful people who have entrusted their special moments to me.
I truly believe that the simplest, most ordinary moments (the ones we often overlook) hold the greatest beauty. They have the quiet power to bring us back to ourselves, to remind us of the love and wonder that already live within and around us. In a world that moves fast, photography gently pauses time, letting us feel it all a little deeper.

How it works
01. Consultation
Before your session, we’ll connect through a consultation where I get to know you, your family and vision. You’ll fill out a quick questionnaire so I can design a session that truly reflects your story.
02. PHOTO SESSION
On the day of your session, I only need you to be truly present with your loved ones and enjoy! I’ll guide you every step of the way with natural posing and gentle direction. Whether you’re holding hands with your love or laughing with your little ones, I’ll capture the in-between moments and all the love that fills them.
03. gallery
Within two weeks of your session, you’ll receive a beautifully curated online gallery filled with edited images. You’ll have time to download your favorites, share them with loved ones, and keep them safe as timeless keepsakes. Simple, seamless, and full of heart.
