I recently had the honor of photographing this gorgeous family.

My love and admiration for families have only grown deeper these past few years. The way the husband looks at his wife, the way the mother holds her baby in her arms, the way kids see the world with so much wonder, the way a father holds his son… this is no small thing. Families are a gift and the heart and bones of society. We need more families, more marriages, more children.

It is truly a gift to me to witness and document their stories, their unique dynamics, and their reality. 🤎 It is so beautiful and sacred.

I wanted to share a little bit of what’s been going on in my heart and mind lately.

I know that there are many entrepreneurs doubting themselves and if you are one of them, I want to remind you that you have what it takes to make it happen. You have the vision, the passion, and the capacity to make it happen.

Some desires in our hearts are intertwined and connected with our gifts - special talents given to us by the Holy Spirit - which we must steward and use for the good of others. You are called to use these specific talents you already have in a unique way.

Don’t be discouraged. There is a reason why you have that dream. The world would be incomplete without you and I bet life would be incomplete without this dream of yours that can impact people’s lives for the better. 💛

One of my favorite moments during a session is when I ask my clients to say three things they love about each other. 🤎 They live the moment, while I capture it from afar.

I truly believe that a session can be so much more than prompts, poses, and photos; a session can also be a date, a break, an intimate moment to spend with the people you love. And it is my desire to use this time as an opportunity to remind my clients how special and loved they are.

My goal is to capture the genuine, goofy, tender, and organic moments during the session. I love sharing prompts with my clients, but my favorite photos are the ones I take in between prompts, which end up being the raw and authentic moments. 🤎
